The Victoria’s Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio, 45, happily showed off her new stunning diamond ring in a series of Instagram snaps on Thursday, two days after announcing her engagement to former model and jewelry designer, Buck Palmer, 44.
In one photo, taken during their beach proposal in Indonesia, the model sizzled in a crochet string bikini while giving the camera a close-up of the dazzling engagement ring.
Olivia Landau, founder and CEO of The Clear Cut, told The Daily Mail that the elongated cushion cut ring, set in an all yellow gold bezel, appears to be around five to seven carats and ‘could range from $200-500K’ depending on the quality and exact size.
‘The shape of diamond and style of ring is very much on trend,’ jewelry expert Landau added.
It’s not clear if Palmer designed the ring himself, though sources previously indicated he might have designed a gold band Ambrosio was wearing in Instagram photos this past spring.
‘It is likely that he designed that ring she is wearing on her wedding finger because that’s his job – he designs jewelry.’
Another snap showed the loved-up pair cozied up at a beach bar, with Ambrosio subtly showing the statement ring.
There was also a photo of her displaying the dazzling diamond from inside their hotel room.
In other snaps, the pair were seen enjoying a romantic horseback ride and later taking a dip in the ocean.
The duo got engaged after a near two-year romance. The supermodel announced the proposal via the couple’s joint Instagram page on Tuesday, writing, ‘I’d choose you in this life and every life. Here’s to forever, my love.’
