Monica Barbaro isn’t one to brag, so I’ll do it for her: The actress masterminded the sexiest moment in her randy new romantic comedy, One Night Only.
Not because she advocated for an emerald sequinned Alex Perry mini dress with a neckline so plunging, camera shots were framed either above or below her “McGees”—a nod to Anchorman’s “Tits McGee”—Barbaro tells me, trying to keep a straight face. The dress upped the ante in zany action sequences, like when her character, Allie, a frustrated singer belting covers for Big Pharma commercials, goes on a madcap dash for condoms, tangling with scorned pizza maker Owen (Internet boyfriend and real-life Dua Lipa husband, Callum Turner), but that’s not the movie magic I’m talking about, either.
